Lucille Griffin Tucker, 96, of Claxton, Georgia, formerly of Savannah, Georgia, and widow of James Byron Tucker, died Sunday evening, May 8, 2022, at Spanish Oaks Retreat.
Born in Tattnall County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late David Lee Griffin and the late Versie Kicklighter Griffin. Mrs. Tucker was a member of Sikes Chapel United Methodist Church. She and her husband owned and operated Tucker's Service Station in Savannah for 40 years.
In addition to her husband of almost 72 years and her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Frann Tucker Lance; her son-in law, Roland Eugene Lance, and her sister, Syble Griffin DeNitto.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Carolyn Tucker, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning, May 12, 2022, at the graveside, Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, with the Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett officiating.
