Louise Baugh Lupica, 80, died Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Her only child, Kerrie, was by her side.
Louise was born in Savannah, GA on April 20, 1942 to Eva Gill Baugh and Joseph A. Baugh. Being an “Air Force brat”, Louise lived in several places starting at age 7. She remembered being stationed in Cheyenne, WY, Kentucky, Illinois, South Carolina, Massachusetts and Newfoundland, but Savannah was always her home. She moved back home in her last high school years to live with her cousin Ann (her “sister”), grandmother, aunt, and uncle, graduating from Savannah High School in 1961.
She had met a young Air Force medic, Charles T. Lupica and they married on September 7, 1961. A year later, they welcomed their only child, a daughter, Kerrie.
Louise began work as an executive assistant/bookkeeper working for doctors, then B’Nai Brith Synagogue before becoming the office administrator for Middleton & Anderson Law Firm. In 1994, she began working for John Suthers, Suthers & Harper Law Firm. She loved her work and continued working until 2022 at age 80.
Louise was a very caring and devoted wife, mother and friend and her family was her joy. Even in her last few days, she was more concerned about sending a special birthday present to family members. Her loving, kind and generous spirit will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and son-in-law, John D. Harrison.
She is survived by her daughter, Kerrie Harrison and her “sweetest one” granddaughter, Beth Harrison, her cousin, Ann Donaldson and aunt, Patsy Gill, cousins Cindy Phillips (Chris) and Jeff Donaldson (Shari) and nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 2 from 5-7 p.m. at Gamble Funeral Service.
A funeral service is set for 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Collegiate Church of St. Paul the Apostle, conducted by the Very Reverend Dr. William Willoughby III.
