SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Louise Walton Hudson, 79, of Savannah, Georgia, wife of Marion Eugene Hudson, died Thursday evening, March 29, 2012, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Vaucluse, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Charles Walton and the late Hattie Mae Hutto Walton. Mrs. Hudson was a faithful and active member of White Bluff United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a retired secretary with P and I Supply Company. Mrs. Hudson was past president of ABWA and a long time member and treasurer of Savannah Women on the Go.
Surviving are her husband, Marion Eugene Hudson of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Cheryl Puckett and her husband, Hollis, of Dacula, Georgia, and Lisa Gaines and her husband, Zeke, of Richmond Hill, Georgia; one son, Richard "Rick" Marion Hudson and his wife, Susan, of Leipsic, Delaware; six grandchildren, Daniel Boykin, Stacy Darracott and her husband, Jake, Laura Puckett, William Gaines and his wife, Kacie, Zeke Gaines IV and Marshall Gaines; two great-grandchildren, Rachel and Aiden Darracott, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at White Bluff United Methodist Church conducted by The Reverend John A. Haney. Interment will be at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, South Carolina.
