Lois Boyd Stuart, 81, of Savannah, GA, went on to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. She passed away at Bryan County Health and Rehab after more than a decade of battling Alzheimer's. Lois Marie Boyd Stuart was born July 31, 1934, in Soperton, GA to Edgar and Jeanette Boyd.
Lois and Charles Stuart were happily married for over 50 years. Lois was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an incredible cook and loved serving others as well as spending time with her grandchildren. Lois was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church for over 40 years, where she served in many capacities. She will be missed and forever loved by her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stuart, and oldest son, Paul Stuart.
She is survived by her 3 sons and their spouses, Brian and Sarah Stuart, Doug and Renee Stuart, Roger and Lori Stuart, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be at 10 o'clock Friday, August 14, 2015, at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bonaventure Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
