SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Linda Mae Riggsbee McDonald, 58, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of John Lindsay McDonald, Jr., died Wednesday evening, August 29, 2012, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Pirmasens, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Farris Lindy Riggsbee and Helga Josephine Gampfer Riggsbee. Mrs. McDonald was a personal assistant with the United States Government.
Survivors include her husband, John Lindsay McDonald, Jr. of Savannah, Georgia; daughter, Rachel Leigh McGinnis of Springfield, Missouri; son, Joshua James McDonald and his wife, Manuela, of Frederick, Maryland; two granddaughters, Ariel Linda McGinnis and Emily McDonald; one grandson, Fynn McDonald; two sisters, Brinda Fay Riggsbee and her husband Juan, of Pozuelo del Ray, Spain and Shirley Ann Riggsbee of Orlando, Florida; and two brothers, Farris William Riggsbee and his wife, Roberta, of Orlando, Florida and James Wayne Riggsbee of Houston, Texas.
A private service will be held at a later date.
