Linda Gail Oates George, 71, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Michael 'Mike' Eric George, died Saturday, January 9, 2021, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Mooresville, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late John Franklin Oates and the late Margaret Elizabeth Lytle Oates. Linda was a retired registered nurse and case manager. As a nurse, she was known as a strong advocate for her patients.
Survivors include her husband of almost 42 years, Michael 'Mike' Eric George; her daughter, Kelly Louise George; her granddaughter, Philippa Louise Cenzer-George,and her sister, Louise Herlocker.
A memorial service will be held at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, January 13, 2021, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue conducted by Pastor C. Michael Chastain.
