Linda G. Friedman, 79, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Herman Friedman, died Wednesday afternoon, August 19, 2015, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late David and Ida Gold. Linda was a member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob. She was actively involved in helping people with special needs and served on various boards. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Gold.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Charles Friedman and his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Debbi Wildey and her husband, David; four grandchildren, and a brother, Steve Gold.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
