Linda Ann Smith Attard, 65, of Savannah, Georgia, died Saturday morning, September 13, 2014, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, Georgia.
She was a native of Savannah, Georgia, a daughter of the late Spencer Ashton Smith and the late Helen Conners Smith. Linda was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She graduated from Valencia Community College in Orlando. Linda retired from Candler Hospital as a medical transcriptionist. She lived in Orlando before moving back to Savannah.
Survivors include two sisters, Karen Watts of Gainesville, Georgia, and Cheryl Hendrix of Statesboro, Georgia; two brothers, Gary Smith and his wife, Dorrie, and Mark Smith, all of Savannah, Georgia; two nieces, Mandy Watts and Candice Cook and her husband, Jay; one nephew, Brett Smith and his wife, Stacy; two great-nieces, Palmer Smith and Hannah Cook; one great-nephew, Tal Cook; her uncle and aunt, Joe and Martha Conners, and cousins, Pam Finocchiaro, Carole Conners and Joseph Conners.
A private family graveside service will be held Sunday afternoon at the Catholic Cemetery conducted by The Reverend Thomas W. East, Jr.
