SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Lillian Elizabeth Miller Corvette, 89, of Savannah, Georgia, died Wednesday morning, July 7, 2010, at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Charles Miller and Edna Buckner Miller. Ms. Corvette was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was formerly an administrative assistant for the City of Savannah Golden Age Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Clifford T. "Teddy" Corvette, Jr. and two brothers, Clyde Harold "Buster" Ray and Charles Glenn Ray.
Surviving are two daughters, Judith C. Hair and her husband, George, of Duluth, Georgia, and Carol C. Cook and her husband, Frank, of Savannah, Georgia; four grandchildren, Christy C. DuBose and her husband, Randy, Tracy C. Conradson and her husband, Sean, Shannon C. Hasbrouck and her husband, Richard, and T. Phillips Connor and his wife, Sherrana; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one niece, Carolyn Roberson and her husband, Jim, and one nephew, Charles Ray and his wife, Betty.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. David C. Laughner. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure cemetery.
