Lavenia Clarke Holm, 79, of Midway and Savannah, Georgia and wife of Charles Ramm Holm, Jr., entered into eternal rest Sunday evening, February 2, 2014, at her home.
??Born in Estill, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late James Douglas Clarke and the late Bernice Ree Anderson Clarke. Mrs. Holm was of the Methodist faith and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Charles Ramm Holm, Jr.; two sons, Charles R. Holm III and James Douglas Holm, Sr. and his wife, Janet; two grandsons, Christian Clarke Holm and James Douglas 'Jimmy' Holm, Jr., and two sisters, Bonnie Jarrard and her husband, Truett, and Brenda Baker and her husband, George.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Thursday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 7 o'clock Thursday evening in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett. Interment will be private.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. George Negrea, Dr. Frank LaFranchise, and Dr. Anthony Costrini and their staffs for the excellent care given to Mrs. Holm.
