Laurie Lynn Kraft, 75, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Michael 'Mike' Oliver Kraft, died Saturday morning, June 26, 2021, at her home.
Laurie was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Estelle Martha Cico Hanna. She was a devout Christian with a strong spiritual faith. Laurie was an accomplished musician, poet, writer, artist, and athlete, especially tennis. Above all, her family was first in everything!
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Michael 'Mike' Oliver Kraft of Savannah; one daughter, Jill Kraft Conrey and her husband, Rob, of Atlanta; two sons, Michael 'Mike' O. Kraft II of Savannah and Matthew 'Matt' Kraft of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and four grandchildren, Grace Conrey, Emma Conrey, Hallie Kraft and Zoe Kraft.
Laurie never knew a stranger, and she found and gave joy in such little things, gestures, acts, gifts, words, works of art (hers of others), smiles, hugs, the list goes on. She will be truly and forever missed, but as she said repeatedly to her family in the days and weeks leading up to her transition, love lives forever. If anyone deserves an eternity of bliss and all things beautiful, it is Laurie.
