Laura Inez Testone Wilson Hodges, 83, of Savannah, died Friday evening, October 4, at Memorial University Medical Center after a long illness.
??Inez was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 4, 1930 to the late George W. and Viola Davis Testone. Her family moved to Savannah in 1937, she attended the old Massey School, and was a 1948 graduate of Commercial High School. Inez was a member of Bible Baptist Church and The Master's Sunday School Class.
Inez is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Hodges Edenfield and her fianc??e, Danny Housh, of Greensboro, North Carolina; two sons, George W. Wilson, Sr. and Michael E. Wilson and his wife, Bonnie, of Savannah; two sisters, Violet Joyner of Savannah and Shirley Chaplin of Ellabel, Georgia; sister-in-law, Cleo Testone of Conway, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, George Wilson and his wife, Audrey, Shawn Wilson and his wife, Kristen, Timothy Wilson, Kelly Wilson and his wife, Anne, Katie Mallery and her husband, Wes, Christopher Wilson and his wife, Amanda, Brandon Edenfield and Miranda Edenfield, and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Monday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Bible Baptist Church - ??4700 Skidaway Road. Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey - East.
