Landall Woody Reid, age 83, passed away at Memorial Hospital on Saturday March 11th surrounded by his family.
Was born December 17, 1939.
Survived by his wife of 61 years Leonora Griffin Reid, son Robert B Reid, daughter Cathy (Walton) Mitchell, granddaughter, Catherine Michelle Holton, three great-grandchildren (Addison, Ansley and Levi Holton). Two brothers Randall (Nancy) Reid, and Terry (Diana) Reid. And several nieces and nephews.
He was a Master Chief in the military with 21 years of service and 26 years of service with the US Postal Service. He was a Mason with the Bilbro Lodge #16 and a member of the American Legion Post 184.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 o'clock, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning, March 16, 2023, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service, conducted by Reverend Peter J. Hartmann. Interment with full military honors will take place in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
