Kirk Michael Firmin

Kirk Michael Firmin, of Florence, South Carolina passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the age of 55. He was the son of Jerry Firmin and Karen Hayes born on February 13, 1968 in Williamsburg, Virginia.
He loved to travel and experience the landscapes and cultures of other countries. He wished to retire and live overseas in Portugal one day. He loved to ride his motorcycles in the Blue Ridge Mountains with his wife, Brandy. He loved to scuba dive around the world and had an incredible eye for photography. He was much more comfortable behind the camera lens rather than in front of one. He also loved a good cigar.
He will be remembered for his leadership, articulation and quick wit. There wasn't anything he couldn't figure out. He enjoyed the challenge.
He is survived by his wife, Brandy Firmin of Florence, South Carolina; his son, Nick Firmin of Statesboro, Georgia; and his mother Karen Hayes of Greene, Maine.
He is preceded in death by his sister Deb Firmin Charleton and his father Jerry Firmin. A Memorial service for Kirk will be held on Saturday October 7, 2023 at Gamble Funeral Home in Savannah, Georgia beginning at 11:00am.
