Kimberly 'Kim' Sue Watson, 44, of Savannah, Georgia, died Saturday afternoon, May 29, 2021, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Born in Watertown, New York, she was a daughter of Susan Elizabeth MacMurray Watkins and the late Marshall Parker Watson, Sr. Kim earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Master's of Social Work from Savannah State University. She was a social worker for Georgia Regional Hospital. Kim enjoyed crafting, reading, and watching movies.
Surviving are two daughters, Julia Elizabeth Watson and Grace Olivia Watson; her mother, Susan Elizabeth MacMurray Watkins; three brothers, Marshall Parker Watson, Jr. and his wife, Amy, Jerome Watson and his wife, Nicole, and Todd Watkins and his wife, Jennifer; her step-father, the Reverend Dr. Samuel W. Watkins; nieces and nephews, and her two dogs, Tequila and Muggles.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
A memorial service will be held at 7 o'clock Wednesday, June 2, 2021, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by the Reverend Nathan C. Godley. Interment will be private.
