Kenneth 'Ken' Earl Troth, 74, of Tarboro, North Carolina and widower of Geraldine Alane Henderson Troth died Saturday evening, December 19, 2020, in Brooklet, Georgia with his family by his side.
Born in Lincoln Nebraska, he was a son of the late Frank Troth and the late Mary Ann Allsman Troth. He was drafted into the United States Army during college and afterwards worked as a truck driver for Paschall Truck Lines. Ken was a fun-loving man who enjoyed golf, grilling for others, and the outdoors, but above all loved his family and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Ken was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Jane Cannon.
Survivors include daughters, Heather R. Wilson (Stephen), Robin Ferreira (Tony), Melissa Haverkamp (Gregory), Sherri Todd (Walt); son, Randy Barefield (Tina); grandchildren, Hunter and Jordyn Wilson, Jeffrey Melton, Patrick Ferreira, Taylor Glass, Devin and Justin Todd; sisters, Sally Balmer and Debra Troth; brothers, Todd Troth (Adele) and Brent Troth (Scott), and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by the Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett.
