Kenneth L. (Kenny) Teller, 64, of Dunwoody, Georgia and formerly of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on October 13, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents Bernard and Harriet Teller and his grandparents David & Libby Levine. He is survived by his brother & long time caregiver Gary (Barbara) of Dunwoody, GA, brothers Bobby (Donna) of Crawford, GA and Jimmy (Andrew) of Silver Spring, MD, uncle Irvin Levine (Maxine) of Shreveport, LA, aunt Dorothy Teller of Wilkes-Barre, PA, sister in law Renee Poller Storey of Stephens, GA and several cousins.
'The Koosh', as he was affectionately called by his family, was a graduate of Hershel V. Jenkins High School where he played first trumpet in the school band. He attended Armstrong State College. From his teen years on Kenny had an enduring enthusiasm for meteorology and all things weather, Star Trek, rockets and space travel, and music'especially rock.
The family would like to thank all of the caregivers and health care providers who extended to Kenny their compassion, help and understanding throughout the 41 years Kenny struggled with schizophrenia.
The graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Bonaventure Cemetery conducted by Rabbi Scott Colbert.
