Tina was born in Sylvania, Georgia, but raised in Savannah and educated at Commercial High School.
She was a member of White Bluff Methodist church, belonged to Eves Circle, and was active in Christian Women.
She was preceded in death by her husband Col (Ret.) Hobert Lee Kiger; two sons, John Greenwaide, Gary Kiger; sister, Joan Barrenbrugge and her parents L. Archie Brooker and Ruby Kemp Brooker.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia Dru Collard, her husband, Brad; son, James Lee Kiger, his wife, Anna Claire of Clarkesville, Georgia; six grandchildren, Candace and Col. Jay Flottmann, Phillip and Jessie Collard, Amy and Travis Chalmers, Stacie and Tim Shidemantle, and Sara Ann Greenwaide; twelve great-grandchildren; Devon Bailey, Camryn, Ashlyn, and Taryn Flottmann, Sophia and Nora Collard, Morgan, Madison, and Merrick Shidemantle, and Dylan, London, and Jameson Chalmers; two nieces, Lisa Rowland and Tracy Muller.
Tina loved flowers and was a member of the Windsor Forest Garden Club of Georgia. She was a decorator, an artist, and a talented flower designer and did the flowers for church in Hawaii. She was also a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, the Needlepoint Club, attended Bible Study at Isle of Hope Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 o’clock, Thursday evening, July 6, 2023, at Gamble Funeral Service – 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The memorial service will be held at 11 o’clock, Friday morning, July 7, 2023, at White Bluff Methodist Church – 11911 White Bluff Road, Savannah, Georgia. There will be a private reception for immediate family following the service.
