Kathleen Veronica Sullivan

Kathleen Veronica Sullivan, 90, of Savannah, Georgia, died Sunday evening, December 31, 2023, at Azalealand Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the last 10 years.

Born in County Cavan, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Anna Mullen. She came to the United States in 1952, where she met her future husband, Frank Sullivan. They were married for 50 years and raised 8 children together. She had been a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and prior to that had been a longtime communicant of St. James Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and two sons, Brian F. Sullivan and Michael B. Sullivan.

She is survived by her three daughters, Mary Hudson and Patricia Sullivan, both of Savannah, Georgia, and Sheila Harrod of Darien, Georgia; three sons, John Sullivan (Mary Ellen) and Kevin Sullivan (Diane), all of Savannah, and Timothy Sullivan (Nancy) of Pasadena, California; and nine grandchildren, Sean Hudson, Anna Wixon, Garrett Sullivan, Patrick Harrod, Jack Sullivan, Kate Sullivan, and Lindsey, Caitlyn, and Madison Collins.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 6:30 Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Gamble Funeral Service with the Christian Wake Service being held at 6:30.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 o'clock Friday morning, January 5, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park - East.
