Katherine 'Katie' Zell Anderson, 25, of Savannah, Georgia, died Tuesday morning, December 29, 2015, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of Zell Lanier Anderson and Buford Clinton Anderson, Jr. Katie was of the Episcopal faith.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dr. Lonnie Richard Lanier, Jr. and Zell Moore Lanier.
Surviving are her mother, Zell Lanier Anderson of Savannah, Georgia; her father and step-mother, Buford Clinton Anderson, Jr. and his wife, Gayle, of Auburn, Alabama; two step-sisters, Kate Spratlin and Campbell Spratlin; her paternal grandmother, Juanita Marks of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; her paternal grandfather, Buford Anderson and his wife, Christine, of Panama City, Florida; four uncles, Lee Lanier and Kirk Lanier and his wife, Linda, all of Atlanta, Georgia, and Brian Anderson and his wife, Susan, and Gregory Anderson, all of Nashville, Tennessee; one aunt, Lynn James and her husband, Tommy, of White Hall, Arkansas, and many cousins, including Sarah Lanier and Austin Lanier.
The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Wednesday at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by The Reverend Liam G. Collins.
