Kam Rasamee, age 72, entered into eternal rest on December 31, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was born July 20, 1944 Vientiane Laos. He lived in Savannah most of his life and retired from the City of Savannah Public Works Department.
Surviving are his sisters, Toom Rasamee and Khan Rasamee; son, Somneuk 'Nook' Rasamee (Sou); daughters, Somphorn Steade (Christopher), Somfong Rasamee and Somsee Rasamee (Justin); grandchildren, Devon Chapman, Kyle Chapman, Allen Chapman, Logan Bumgardner, Carter Rasamee, Bree Rasamee, Caleb Rasamee, Jacob Rasamee and Isabella Steade, and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Friday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue, with the rosary being held at 7 o'clock in the chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Father Jason P. Adams. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
