Julie Ann Woods Parker, 60, of Rincon, Georgia and wife of Robert Parker, died Sunday morning, April 6, 2014, at her home.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Clayton Woods and the late Billie Jean Hendrix Woods. Julie was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. She loved her family and also enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Robert Parker of Rincon; two sons, Robert Adam Parker and Christopher 'Chris' M. Parker and his wife, Amy, all of Rincon; five grandchildren, Adrian Godwin, Alex Godwin, Amanda Godwin, Jason Parker and Caleb Parker; one sister, Holly Jean Woods of Rincon; two nieces, Tiffany Burnette and Ashley Conrad, and one nephew, James Woods.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah.
The funeral service will be held at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend John A. Haney.
