Julian Mark Mullin, 48, of Savannah, Georgia, died Wednesday morning, July 22, 2015, in his home.
Born in Monmouthshire, Wales, he was the son of Gerald L. Mullin and the late Margaret Crowley Mullin. He was fluent in German, French, and Spanish and won several state mathematics competitions. He loved music from a young age and was a concert master of the Grand Rapids Michigan Youth Symphony during his high school years. He was a substitute member for several symphonies through the state. He attended college at Western Michigan University and moved to Savannah to join the Savannah Symphony Orchestra. As a violinist, he took joy in sharing his music with other people as a busker and lived in Savannah for 18 years.
He is survived by his father, Gerald Mullin, and his wife, Delbra; and two brothers, Jason D. Mullin of Tempe, Arizona, and Justin F. Mullin of Chicago, Illinois; and several aunts, uncles and cousins from Texas, Georgia, and Suffolk, England.
The funeral service will be held 3 o'clock Sunday in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett. Interment will be private.
