Joseph Gordon 'Jay Bird' Wilson, 34, of Springfield, Georgia, died Wednesday afternoon, March 29, 2017, at his home.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Richard Arnold Wilson and Janet Elaine Welch Wilson. Jay Bird loved spending time with his family, turkey hunting, listening to gospel music, and watching scary movies.
Surviving are his parents; three sisters, Shandelah Wilson, Linda Wilson and Loraine Wilson; one brother, Lavert Wilson; six nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Tristan, Dillan, Maddie, Landon and Emma, and one great-nephew, Nolan.
The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 o'clock Monday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the graveside, Turkey Branch Baptist Church Cemetery
