Joseph 'Joe' Anthony Jones, 55, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away Sunday morning, March 27, 2022, at his home.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Anthony David Jones and the late Louise Priscilla LeMay. Joe enjoyed playing golf and was a big fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. He was a talented builder and worked for several years as the chief engineer at the Savannah Bed & Breakfast Inn. Joe was very family oriented, always putting the needs of others before his own. A favorite, especially to his nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Mark LeMay, a gold and silver medal winner in golf at the Special Olympics.
Survivors include his brother, Charles 'Chuck' Alan Jones and his wife, Hope; step-brother, Michael Horne; father, Anthony 'Tony' David Jones and his wife Marsha; nieces, Courtney Munoz, Lauren Kaapa, Kathryn Roy, Priscilla Jones; nephew, Anthony Jones; great-nieces, Aubrey, Ellie, Emma, Scarlett; great-nephews, Landon, Ryland, Caiden.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Aunt Denise 'Der' and Uncle Roger 'Rog' for their care and consideration of Joe and his family.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 o'clock Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
