SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Jonnie Brantley Daniels, 97, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Richard Daniels, Sr., died Saturday morning, February 13, 2010, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Wrightsville, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Brantley and the late Mettie Adell Smith Brantley. Mrs. Daniels was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Fidelity 385 and was a Past Matron. Mrs. Daniels was also a member of the Daughters of America.
Surviving are one daughter, Ruby J. Thomas of, Savannah, Georgia; one son, Claude Lumley of, Kingsfield, Texas; one sister, Ella Scott of Macon, Georgia; one brother, Harold Miller of, Atlanta, Georgia; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Dr. B. Earl Best. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
