Johnny L. Daniels

Johnny Lee Daniels was born on January 20th, 1944, to the late John and Louisa Daniels in Savannah, Georgia. Johnny peacefully departed this life on Saturday, February 15th, 2025.

Johnny was preceded in death by; his parents ,his sister's, Edna Scott, Carolyn Adams, Patricia Thomas; and his son, Harold Daniels.

 In 1997, Johnny met the love of his life, Virginia. they were united in holy matrimony. He was employed by CSX Transportation Railroad as a conductor, dedicating 37 & 1/2 years of service before retiring. 

Johnny leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Virginia H. Ross-Daniels; five sons, Johnny Daniels, Sherwin (Tony) Daniels, Harry ( Michelle ) Ross, Jacoby Daniels, and Harold Daniels; three daughters, Delores ( Phillip ) Wilson, Mary Miller, and VaTrisha Ross; eight grandchildren, Amber Young, Taja Phillips, Taylor Ross, Jonathan ( Jasmine ) Young, Jizel Ross, Harry Ross III, Phillip Ross, and Braxton Benton Jr.; and four great-grandchildren;  also survived by his brother, Charles ( Mary ) Daniels of Savannah, Georgia; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

 The family will receive friends Friday, February 21, 2025 from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock in the evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, Georgia.
