Johnnie Mae Moore Brown, 92, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of William Loman Brown, died Sunday evening, May 24, 2015, in Savannah.



Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late John Dewey Moore and the late Bevis Sallie Lacy Moore. Mrs. Brown was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was a homemaker.



In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by twin daughters, Sara Jane Stacy and Willie Mae Brown; one son, David William Brown, and two sisters.



Survivors include five daughters, Dale Brown of Savannah, Wanda Polk and her husband, Frank, of Midway, Carol Lauber and her husband, Mark, of Savannah, Mary Caputo and her husband, Vince, of Atlanta, and Arlene Lee of Jacksonville; two sons, Thomas Brown and his wife, Lisa, of Middleburg, Florida, and William Brown, Jr. of Savannah; six grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.



The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Morgan D. Kerr. Interment will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.
