John Michael Tucker, 80, of Savannah, Georgia, and husband of Annette Bauer Tucker died Thursday morning, January 14, 2016, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Champaign, Illinois, he was a son of the late John Tucker and the late Clara Ducey Tucker. As an accountant, he was a partner in the firm of KPMG. Taking an early retirement, Mr. Tucker began his second career at Kent State, where he taught accounting for ten years.
In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by one son, Michael Tucker; two daughters, Shelly Jensen, and her husband Aaron, and Jannette Brickman, and her husband, Paul; and three grandchildren, Ava Jensen, Aaron Jensen, Jr., and Sarah Brickman.
The Funeral Mass will be held on 11 o'clock Thursday morning, January 28, at St. James Catholic Church, conducted by The Reverend Jason P. Adams. Interment will be private.
