John Daniel 'Danny' Morgan, 72, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Bonnie Morgan, died on his birthday Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Rawdon 'Roy' Morgan and the late Lilla 'Betty' Hall Morgan. Danny was of the Christian faith. He worked as a sales representative for many years. Danny later owned and operated a convenience store and after that was in retail management. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-granddaughter, Amber Marie Wallace.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Marie Morgan of Savannah; two daughters, Mandy Bell and her husband, Chris, and Stacy Morgan, all of Savannah; one step-daughter, Kristie Collester of Savannah; one grandson, Riley Deason; one step-granddaughter, Emily Collester; one brother, Robert Barry Morgan and his wife, Janet, of Atlanta, and a number of cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 o'clock Friday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Samuel W. Watkins. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
