John Joseph Kapp, 72, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Lynn Hardison Kapp, died Monday afternoon, December 24, 2018, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in New York City, New York, on May 19, 1946, John was a member of Compassion Christian Church. His career spanned 45 years in the restaurant industry. During this time he served as Vice President of more than 125 restaurants in and near Wichita, Kansas and also worked to build restaurants internationally. John loved to cook and everything he cooked was to perfection.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Hardison Kapp; two sons, C. J, and Chris; his step-son, Ben Harris and his wife, Jessie, and five grandchildren, MaKenna, Kinsley, Kaitlynn, Garrett, and Kalebb.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11 Saturday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Jim Bolen. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
