John Francis 'Jack' Bahr, Jr., 74, of Savannah, Georgia and widower of Barrie Marie Willis Bahr, died Friday morning, June 23, 2017, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Born on July 3, 1942 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he was a son of the late John Francis Bahr, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Gimbel.
In addition to his wife of 49 years and his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth 'Jeannie' Nastus.
Surviving are one daughter, Laurie L. Robillard; one son, John F. Bahr III and his wife, Sherreen; grandchildren, Brielle Bahr, Caylee Robillard, John F. 'Drew' Bahr IV, and Dylan Robillard; three brothers, Thomas Bahr and his wife, Roseanne, James Bahr and his wife, Amy, and Carmen Nastus, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Monday in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Dewain E. Smith. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
