Joanne Evans, 71, formerly of Charleston, recently of Savannah, GA on July 15, 2022 graduated from being our Earth Angel, to now being our Guardian Angel. No more pain and suffering, no more wandering in the wilderness of one's thoughts. No doubt she is sitting on that beach watching and listening to waves crash. Always a kind, gentle, and loving soul, our Mother, Grandma Angel and sister will be missed dearly.
She left many behind here on earth to carry forth her kindness, hopes, and dreams. Sons Calvin Riggins, Jr (Dawn) of Savannah, Sean Riggins (Tricia) of James Island, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, four siblings and countless other family, children and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 o\'clock Saturday afternoon, August 13, 2022, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
