Joanna Deborah 'Debbie' Gladin King, 51, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Robert Aver King, died Friday evening, May 23, 2014, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of Joanna McSwain Counts and Joel Dupree Gladin, Sr. Debbie was of the Presbyterian faith. She was the office manager for Robert's Commercial Appliance Service. Debbie enjoyed her family and her life, but lived for her children.
Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Robert Aver King; two daughters, Audrey Anna King and Amanda Leigh King; one son, Andrew Branson King; her mother and step-father, Joanna M. and Bobby Counts; her father, Joel D. Gladin, Sr.; one brother, Joel D. 'Joey' Gladin, Jr. and his wife, Julie;??one niece, Katey Gladin, and her paternal grandmother, Audrey Ellis Gladin.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Tuesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
