Jill Hall Bean, (Mrs Donald F.) 90, died Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Savannah.
A long-time resident of Savannah, Mrs. Bean was born Jill Hall to Robert Lee Hall and Jewell Connell Hall in Atlanta in 1925, and grew up there. She was a graduate of Girls\' High School and held a Bachelor\'s degree in law from Atlanta Law School.
Jill Hall married Donald F. Bean in 1952 in Atlanta and relocated to Savannah soon thereafter, where they remained together until Mr. Bean\'s death in 1993.
Mrs. Bean was a bookkeeper and had been employed by The Savannah Bank and Trust, Addressograph-Multigraph, the City of Savannah, Anderson Shipping, and Damar Photo during her career. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church, the German Country Club, and was a founding member of the Citizens\' Crime Commission; and a past member of the La Sertoma Club.
She is survived by her children: Judy Bean of Savannah, Doug Bean (Angie) of Savannah, and Rob Bean of Atlanta, her grandchildren: Jennifer Pelletier (Jason) and Michael Bean (Celeste) - both of Richmond Hill, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Remembrances can be made in Mrs. Bean\'s honor to the Alzheimer\'s Foundation of America.
