Jewel Goodwin Harvey, 80, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Robert 'Bob' Virgil Harvey, Sr., died Friday morning, May 13, 2016, at Signature HealthCare of Savannah.
Born in Lehigh, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Frederick Joseph Goodwin and the late Louise Lillian Steer Goodwin. Mrs. Harvey was a Christian. She was a 1952 graduate of Savannah High School and spent most of her life in Savannah. After their son Robbie was born in 1960 she spent the rest of her life as a dedicated wife, mom and homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Robert 'Robbie' Harvey, Jr., and his girlfriend, Susan Pyburn; her granddaughter, Amber Christin Harvey and her fianc??, Ben Berendsen; her great-grandson, Greyson John Berendsen, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Friday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 7 o'clock Friday evening in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Private interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
