Jessie Lou Williams Wiggins, 82, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of James Foy Wiggins, died Friday evening, January 13, 2017, at Hospice Savannah surrounded by her loving family and listening to Elvis Presley.
Born in Millhaven, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Jessie Williams and the late Lourine Andrews Williams. Mrs. Wiggins was a longtime faithful member of Wilmington Island United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. She was a school bus driver for 38 years. Mrs. Wiggins loved her church, her family, flowers, and listening to Elvis Presley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, W. O. Williams and Jimmie Rogers Williams.
Survivors include her husband of almost 65 years, James Foy Wiggins of Savannah, Georgia; three sons, Rick Wiggins (Jill) and Ronald Wiggins (Eleanor) of Savannah, Georgia, and Donald Wiggins (Kim) of Lugoff, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Ryan Wiggins (Morgan), Ricky Wiggins (Lindsey), James Wiggins, Emily Hook (Robbie), Randy Wiggins (Caroline), Jonathan Wiggins (Bethany), and Blake Wiggins (Katie); seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 o\'clock Sunday afternoon at Wilmington Island United Methodist Church ' 195 Wilmington Island Road.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o\'clock Sunday afternoon at Wilmington Island United Methodist Church conducted by The Reverend Karen H. Prevatt. Interment will be at 12 noon Tuesday in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
