SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Jerriod Everett Grizzle, 25, of Savannah, Georgia, son of Chadrick "Chad" Owen Grizzle and Gloria Nall Grizzle, died Friday, October 9, 2009, as a result of an automobile accident near Hoschton, Georgia.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Chadrick "Chad" Owen Grizzle and Gloria Nall Grizzle. Jerriod was a member of First Christian Church. He graduated as Salutatorian at Memorial Day School and was a graduate of Georgia Southern University. Jerriod was an electronics scanner technician for Strattix Corporation in Atlanta. He was a former reporter for The Manning Times in Manning, South Carolina.
Survivors include his parents, Chadrick "Chad" Owen Grizzle and Gloria Nall Grizzle of Savannah, Georgia; four sisters, Carol Rowland of Savannah, Georgia, Linda A. Blackstone and her husband, Lee, of Marietta, Georgia, Minette Rushing and her husband, Jim, of Savannah, Georgia, and Jena Buttimer of Lawrenceville, Georgia; five nieces, Shannon, Lindsay, Ivy, Sherry and Lizzie; one nephew, Jon, and one aunt, Rosemary Gilliland of Savannah, Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Tuesday at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Nancy J. Jenkins and The Reverend Suzanne Cole Wages. Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park - East.
