Jeffrey Lynn Wood, Jr. left this world June 21, 2022 after a brief illness. He was a resident of Effingham County, Georgia.
Jeffrey was born November 5, 1968, in Savannah, Georgia. He was a son of Susan S. Wood and the late Jeffrey Lynn Wood, Sr. Jeffrey had a beautiful life with his family and was loved by all. His passions were hunting and fishing. Jeffrey was a carpenter for most of his life.
Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Susan S. Wood; four children, Olivia Lyn Wood of Pooler, Georgia, Hannah Faith Wood of Port Wentworth, Georgia, Anthony Ryan Wood of Port Wentworth, Georgia, and Jeffrey Aaron Wood of Port Wentworth, Georgia; the mother of his children, Melissa Ford Formby Wood; his siblings, Jennifer Wood of Lexington, Tennessee, Cole Wood of Lexington, Tennessee, Paige Wood of Memphis, Tennessee, and Kyle Wood of Lexington, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, June 24, 222, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, June 24, 2022, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by the Reverend Barry Giddens. Private interment will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.
