Jeannie Ricks Johnson, 77, of Cumming, Georgia and formerly of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Johnnie Ray Johnson, died Friday morning, December 25, 2015, at Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, Georgia.
Born in Soperton, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Ricks and the late Maggie Jane Webb Ricks. Mrs. Johnson attended Highlands Church in Cumming. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sharon Wasdin and Angela Litteral, and one sister, Patricia Fraser.
Surviving are one daughter, Janice Johnson of Cumming; two sons, Wesley Johnson and Michael Johnson, both of Cumming; five grandchildren, Kevin Johnson and his wife, Jill, Dana Cunningham, Christopher Wasdin, Amy Valadez and her husband, Jesus, and Adam Johnson and his wife, Linda; twelve great-grandchildren; four sisters, Sibby Ricks, Betsy Harley, Lula Worthy and Evelyn McElhaney; two brothers, Larry Ricks and Gary Ricks, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o\'clock Tuesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o\'clock Wednesday morning at the graveside, Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by The Reverend John C. Smith.
