Jeanette Prystowsky Rabhan, 98, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Daniel Rabhan, died on June 10, 2013 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.



She was born in Charleston, South Carolina on August 13, 1914, a daughter of Mike and Ida Kramer Prystowsky. Mrs. Rabhan was a member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob. She was a Past President and?? life member of the Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob Sisterhood, where she was a member of the Sunshine Committee of the Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob Sisterhood. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased in death by her son-in-law, Marshall Chernin.



Surviving are three daughters, Ida Raye Chernin, Lynn Owens and her husband, Dick, and Muriel Varon and her husband, Craig; one son, Edward Rabhan and his wife, Barbara; two sisters, Hannah Rubin and Miriam Brenner; eight grandchildren, Alex Chernin and his wife, Jenny, Lisa Katsman and her husband, Ralph, Adam Chernin and his wife, Lynn, Karen Green and her husband, Yisroel, Scott Varon and his wife, Julie, Michael Rabhan and his wife, Erica, Alan Varon and his wife, Sarah, and Daniel Rabhan, and thirteen great-grandchildren, Marisa and Danielle Katsman, Alissa, Devon and Jacob Chernin, Isaac and Ian Chernin, Noach, Rivka and Elianna Green, Reece and Grant Varon, and Addison Rabhan.



The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.



The family extends a special thank you to her caregivers Shirley, Letitia and Delores.
