James Aubrey Ennis

James Aubrey Ennis, 71, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Becky Frawley Ennis, died Tuesday morning, January 5, 2021, at his home.



Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Jimmy Archie Ennis and the late Peggy Fields Ennis. James was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served in the Vietnam War. He was a retired auto mechanic. James loved his family, fishing, and racing.



Survivors include his wife, Becky Frawley Ennis; his daughter, Jaime Thompson Elliott and her husband, Tim; grandchildren, Donald James Thompson, Darien Thompson and Daniel Elliott; two sisters, Mary Poss and her husband, Frank, and Donna Ennis; two brothers, David Ennis and his wife, Donna, and Donald Ennis, and nieces and nephews.



The family will receive friends from 9 until 11 o'clock Friday morning, January 8, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning, January 8, 2021, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by the Reverend Jonathan Brown. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
