Jacob 'Jack' Stoltzman, 82, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Lilian Koblenz Stoltzman, died Thursday morning, June 12, 2014, at his home and under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Mr. Stoltzman was born in Cape Town, South Africa on September 20, 1931, he was the son of the late Morris and Luba Alkinitsky Stoltzman.?? Mr. Stoltzman was a member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob.?? He was a pharmacist, entrepreneur, and a world traveler.?? He was a member of the Lions Club International and the Freemasons Grand Lodge of South Africa.?? He loved to play bridge and was known for his sense of humor.
Surviving are his wife, Lilian Koblenz Stoltzman of Savannah; a son, Morris 'Mo' Stoltzman and his wife, Gail of Savannah; a daughter, Barbara Talisman, and her husband, Paul of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Jordyn Stoltzman, Eric Stoltzman, and Michael Stoltzman, all of Savannah, brothers in law and sisters in law and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
