Irvin Lester Quarterman, Jr., 56, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away Tuesday evening, November 26, 2019, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Irvin Lester Quarterman, Sr. and the late Thelma Sardis Quarterman. Irvin was of the Holiness faith. He was a dedicated cook for more than 20 years. Irvin loved time with his family and football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include three daughters, Teasha Middleton, Sylathia Quarterman and Lakeasha Quarterman; one son, Irvin Lester Quarterman III; his father, Irvin Lester Quarterman, Sr.; three sisters, Joyce Sardis-Mitchell, Barbara Jones-Hatton and Patricia White; two brothers, Harvey Sardis and Earl Quarterman; three grandchildren, Toni Reil, HaileyMay Cloutier and Jacorey Richardson, and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Friday, December 6, 2019, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The home going service will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, December 7, 2019, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
