Harvey Benjamin Yellin,68, passed away peacefully at his home on July 9, 2024.
Harvey Yellin was born in Savannah, GA, on December 18, 1955. Following his college career, Harvey served for many years with the Victims Witness Assistance program in Valdosta,GA before returning home in 2003.
Harvey Yellin was a lifelong member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob. Harvey was known for his gentle kind nature and was loved by all. Harvey was a member of the first class of the Savannah Hebrew Day School.
Harvey Yellin is survived by his mother Arlene (Cookie) Yellin; His sister, Ester Y. (Dr. Fred) Rabhan; his nieces and nephews, Yitzie(Deedee) Rabhan, Rabbi Ephraim(Sabrana) Rabhan, Chaim(Chavi) Rabhan, Baruch(Tehila) Rabhan, Nechama (yoni) Greenstein, Yaakov(Devorah) Rabhan, Shayna Rabhan and many great nieces and nephews. Havey Yellin was predeceased by his father, Harry Yellin.
