Harvey Neal Goldberg, 68, of Savannah, Georgia, died Thursday evening, February 2, 2017, at his home.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Leon Goldberg and the late Evelyn Center Goldberg. Harvey was a member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob. He graduated from The University of Georgia and Emory Law School.
Surviving are four sisters, Eileen Kalikow of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, Susan Blumenthal and her husband, Harvey, of Potomac, Maryland, Irene Lichtenstein and her husband, Bobby, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Sandra Kaufman and her husband, Michael, of New York City, New York; seven nieces and nephews, and six great-nieces and nephews. Mr. Goldberg loved his family and was devoted to them all. He was a very caring friend and took great pleasure in helping others.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
