Harriet \"Pam\" Palefsky Eichholz, 86, passed away peacefully at home Friday, October 7, 2016.



Pam was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Eichholz, her parents Lily and Harry Palefsky and her six siblings.



Pam was a native and lifelong resident of Savannah and was a graduate of Savannah High School. She worked tirelessly alongside her husband at their family business, Ben Sheftall Beauty and Barber Supply. During their years working together in business and in the Jewish community, she touched the lives of many Savannahians. Pam used her incredible energy and spare time doing good deeds for others, creating a Jewish home for her children and grandchildren to enjoy, treating her lifelong friends as family, and participating in many of her favorite Jewish philanthropies by taking on leadership roles. She was an active member of B\'nai B\'rith Jacob sisterhood and synagogue, Hebrew Women\'s Aid Society, Hadassah, Jewish Educational Alliance and many more organizations.



Pam is survived by three sons: Benjamin S. Eichholz, Richard M. Eichholz and Anthony S. Eichholz (Donna), all of Savannah. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: David Eichholz, Elizabeth Yoches (Jeff), Adam Eichholz (Katy), Daniel Eichholz, Jason Eichholz (Liz), Amelia Larsen (Michael),Caroline Eichholz, two great-granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.



The family wishes to express their gratitude to the kind group of caregivers who worked alongside Hospice Savannah providing extraordinary care.



The funeral service will be held at 9:45 Tuesday morning at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
