Harriet 'Wawa' Cohen Brody, 84, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022. She was born April 28, 1938 in Savannah, GA to the late Louis and Yetta Cohen. She graduated from Savannah High School. Growing up she loved horses and was an avid equestrian. She also loved her dogs, especially Majic and Mikie. Harriet was involved with the family clothing business, Parks Clothiers, with her husband, Martin Brody.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Martin S. Brody.
Surviving are her three boys who she loved very much, Lawrence (Robin), Jerry (Michelle) and David. Also, she was blessed with seven grandchildren, Daniel (Samantha), Louis (Katherine), Seth (Emily), Rachel (Matt), Morgan, Jack and Ansley, along with four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022, at 10:30am at Bonaventure Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to: Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob ' 5444 Abercorn St, Savannah, Georgia 31405 or The Humane Society for Greater Savannah ' 7215 Sallie Mood Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31406.
She also had four wonderful caregivers that loved her very much ' Val Daniels, Matina Bell, Imani Timmons and Ava Scott.
