Gregory Lee Tyler, 63, of Savannah, Georgia, and husband of Bonnie Jean Jones Tyler, passed away Thursday morning, March 31, 2022, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Jeanette Varnadore Tyler and the late Joseph Anthony Tyler. Greg loved to travel, having visited every state in the continental United States. He was a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs. Greg worked for many years at Desposito's and also worked 40 years as a master plumber. He was a skilled builder, completing many home projects. Greg loved his dogs, and spending time with his friends and family. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his son, John Michael Tyler; brother, Phillip Tyler, and first wife, Robin Tyler.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Jean Jones Tyler; step-daughter, Sarah McNamara, and his mother, Jeanette Varnadore Tyler.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
