BLUFFTON, SOUTH CAROLINA - Grace Morrow Springfield, 87, of Bluffton, South Carolina, wife of William A. Springfield, died Thursday morning, May 12, 2011 at Coastal Carolina Hospital under the care of Low Country Hospice.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Norwood Morrow and the late Ada Mae Feltman Morrow. Mrs. Springfield was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Simpsonville, South Carolina and currently attended Savannah Christian Church. She loved ice cream and her favorite places to visit were Bermuda and Hawaii. Grace was a loving wife and mother and she loved all little animals, particularly puppies.
Surviving are her husband of fifty six years, William A. Springfield of Bluffton, South Carolina; two daughters, Alyson Grace Springfield Keene and her husband, Dave, of Savannah, Georgia, Andrea Shultz and her husband, David, of Lilburn, Georgia; four grandchildren, Brian Keene, Zachary Freeman, Whitney Freeman, Linley Brown; two great grandchildren, Layla Grace Freeman, Peyton Freeman and one brother, George Morrow and his wife, Rexie, of Melbourne, Florida.
The family will receive friends from 3:30 until 4:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, with a memorial service at 4 o'clock in the chapel, conducted by The Reverend Ken Philbeck.
The family would graciously like to thank the staff of National Health Care in Bluffton and Low Country Hospice for their outstanding care and support.
